We welcome you to worship the Lord and work with us as we minister to our communities.

“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
For the LORD is a great God,
and a great King above all gods.”

– Psalm 95:1-3

Exalting Christ

Our calling as Christians is to be worshipers of the true and living Triune God. Jesus says, “But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:23-24 ESV). We do this at Faith by gathering for worship on Sunday in the singing of hymns, psalms, & songs; in uniting our hearts in prayer; in having the Word of God read and preached; and participating in the sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. In doing so we fulfill man’s chief end which is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

Equipping the saints

Paul wrote to the Ephesians, “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”(Ephesians 4:11-13 ESV) This occurs through the faithful preaching of the Word and partaking of the sacraments in Worship. It is also through the faithful teaching of Scripture in our Sunday School classes before worship on Sunday morning and the Wednesday night lessons for all ages. We also have women’s and men’s ministry which include Bible studies throughout the year as well as times of prayer and fellowship.

Expanding the kingdom

Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you…” (Matthew 28:19-20 ESV). It is our desire to see men, women, boys, and girls become the disciples and true worshipers of the living God. We accomplish this in our homes by raising our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. It is also accomplished through prayer, praying for our community and the missionaries we support locally and abroad. But it also means looking purposefully for opportunities to witness and show mercy in the communities in which we live and beyond.
